20) september 2007: Romagnano Sesia, Ghemme (800*600 pixels): wijngebied met DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) wijnen. Italiaanse topwijnen. Het gebied ligt 80 km. van Domodossola en slechts 25 km. van Arona aan het Lago Maggiore. De wijnheuvels van Novara, met volop wijnproeverijen 'cantine-Degustazione Vino' (meestal koopt men tenminste 3 flessen), zijn net ten zuiden van het meer van Orta, met plaatsen als Barengo, Boca, Bogogno, Borgomanero, Briona, Fara, Ghemme, Romagnano Sesia, Oleggio, Sizzano en Vaprio d'Agogna. Drie flessen: één voor dezelfde dag, één om te controleren of de wijn nog even lekker is over een paar jaar; en één voor de lange termijn collectie.

Its easy to find the 'Cantine-Degustazione Vino': were you can taste (usually the visitors buy at least three bottles) these wines, in the hills south of Orta. The 'Colline Novaresi' villages: Barengo, Boca, Bogogno, Borgomanero, Briona, Fara, Ghemme, Romagnano Sesia, Oleggio, Sizzano en Vaprio d'Agogna. Artistieke foto's van het jaarlijkse schoorsteenvegers festival in de vallei van Vigezzo door Mariagrazia Franzosi. Deze vallei is een zijvallei van de Ossola Vallei en geniet wereldfaam door de schoorstenen en de vegers die over de gehele wereld uitzwierven. Dit jaar waren er op het festival 79 van hun Nederlandse nazaten, met klinkende namen als Ravelli, Margaroli, Andreoli, Bertina, Andrioli, Cheula, Delea, Vitali en Camozzi.

Artistic pictures shoot at the Chimneysweepers Festivities in Vigezzo Valley by Mariagrazia Franzosi. The Vigezzo Valley is famous because of its chimneys, and as a matter of course its chimneysweepers. Among them a lot emigrated to places all over the world. This year for example 79 Dutch roots travelers with typical names like Ravelli, Margaroli, Andreoli, Bertina, Andrioli, Cheula, Delea, Vitali and Camozzi came back to visit their roots and participated at the yearly festival.
